I am happy to come to your home if you are within a 5-8 mile radius from my office located in Long Beach. I am a proud Long Beach resident and I enjoy serving the needs of my community. I do my best to set up our first consultation within 24 hours or sooner. My goal is to provide relief and comfort as soon as possible.
I am happy to provide support via telemedicine. Depending on your unique situation telemedicine may be appropriate. I generally prefer to see and touch the baby in person at least once throughout the therapeutic process.
Speech/language and feeding services are generally covered by PPO insurance plans. I am an out-of-network provider with all plans and your share of costs may be higher. Please see insurance information page for more details.
I am happy to involve all interested parties during a home visit. For the comfort of all our patients I ask that only one other adult accompany the parent & baby to the office.
Absolutely, feeding and parenting is different for each family. Your individual needs and goals are a top consideration. As there are risks to providing artificial milk to babies, accommodations are made accordingly.
In most cases I can make a determination if your baby has an oral restriction (tongue tie) that is impacting function. The presence of a tongue tie does not necessarily require surgical intervention. The assessment process evaluates not only the appearance of the tongue but how well the tongue is able to move or function for feeding.
